Test Station

Main Purpose

Test stations are used for the inspection of cathodic protection systems. They are installed along the pipeline according to their functions and can be used to detect pipeline potential, current, insulation performance, and coating leaks. They are essential devices for pipeline management and maintenance.

Classification by Function

Potential Test Station: Mainly used to detect the protective potential of the pipeline.

Sacrificial Anode Test Station: Used to measure the performance parameters of sacrificial anodes.

Current Test Station: Measures the direction and magnitude of the current inside the pipeline.

Insulating Joint Test Station: Measures the resistance on both sides of an insulating joint or flange.

Casing Test Station: Tests the potential and electrical insulation of the casing and the carrier pipe.

Other Test Stations: For ease of management and inspection, there are also crossing test stations, bonding test stations, etc.
